Among his most iconic designs is the Elf sconce produced and sold by Illuminating Experiences. Many of his designs have won important awards, including nearly a dozen Lighting For Tomorrow Awards presented by The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the American Lighting Association.
BlackJack represents Blackman’s desire to create very high-end lighting, satisfying a market that places a premium on stunning design, fabulous materials and the very newest lighting technology. An engineer and an artist, Blackman is gearing BlackJack to be the leading purveyor of a new generation of decorative lighting.
“When it comes to design, basically I feel form follows function,” Blackman says. “In lighting, that means the light fixture should relate to the form of the light source. That is how I have always approached my work as a designer, even though sometimes that makes the work more difficult — but the end result is better and more true to the technology. My designs for BlackJack incorporate the latest technology and represent a new approach to designing fixtures with solid state light sources.”

Sales Consultant Recommendation
The Tube LED is one of my favorite bathroom light fixtures. It provides nice, clean 22W LED light that's evenly distributed throughout the white glass, avoiding any hot spots found in most halogen bathroom lights. The style works in many settings, and the price point is fantastic, especially for an LED!

Sales Consultant Recommendation
The Tube LED is one of my favorites because of its clean and modern style. It has the equivalent of approximately 180 watts of incandescent light, making it very bright for a relatively small fixture (20.5"L). There are no bulbs to change because the LEDs will last about 50,000 hours. Also, compared to the original incandescent version of this fixture, the light glows evenly end-to-end, with no "hot spots." The price of the fixture paired with the energy savings, makes the Tube LED a very good value.

This lamp is very nice looking. Clean and modern. The color of the light is very warm, bright and overall a great look. The only downfall to the light is that the bulbs are distinctly bright and dim where there is no bulb. Did not pay attention to this in the photo's of the light, but, it is noticeable.
